Eddie Covarrubias graduated with honors from Columbia College Chicago majoring in Arts, Entertainment & Media Management. He started with composing instrumental music at a young age and progressed into some pop-song writing. He has co-written and recorded with the band A Taste For Two, private taught piano and music theory, and was an understudy back-up keyboardist for the Chicago run of Wicked. As an educator, he was a high school choral director, music theory teacher, music director of 8 musicals and held the Music Department Chairperson. Eddie had a 3 year run performing as a piano bar entertainer for Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Cruise Line and Azamara Cruises.  You will find Eddie performing at the piano lounges at Chicago's O'Hare airport and various churches around the city for weddings and private events.

He is a member of American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) and a former member of Chicago's chapter of American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
